More on “Older”

“Older” is about falling out of love with a season of life. Going from chasing a moment to feeling secure in the present.  I think this kinda change is inevitable for everyone. We cant forever stay young and driven by this fear of missing out, eventually; that glow and shimmer start to fade and you turn to sights to something else. I think this change can come with a feeling of guilt or betrayal of identity hence “you said I let the past go I don’t really think that feels right…” but you're never going to stay the same person forever. 

“Older” is our most experimental track yet. Like the song's message, we felt this pull to explore new sonic spaces. The track is built on an infectious programmed drum loop layered with bright cascading electric guitars. This new-wave indie/dance track adds a whole new shade to our color palette that we can't wait to paint with.
